Disney's The Lone Ranger has had a tough time getting to the big screen. It languished in development hell for four years before it was picked up. It went through numerous director's before Gore Verbinski was chosen, and then production was delayed due to actor Johnny Depp's, playing the Ranger's native American companion Tonto, numerous commitments. Production was delayed further due to a ballooning budget, dust storms, an injury sustained by Depp, and tragically, the death of a stunt man. But after a 150 day long shoot, shooting has finally wrapped on the movie. With release set for the 3rd of July 2013, expect to see some footage very soon, but for now we have new images from the film, including better looks at Depp and Armie Hammer as the titular hero.
