A new poster for Broken City has just dropped into my inbox, and well….um….anyway, it’s below with a moody looking Russell Crowe and an equally moody Mark Wahlberg, doing a peoples eyebrow while he’s at it. I like the synopsis for the movie, and the trailer is quite decent, excluding Russell Crowe’s hair constantly changing style, he looks like a right bad ass, slimey politician and Wahlberg is Wahlberg, rock solid. While on this side of the pond we’ll have to wait until March, our American readers only have to wait 10 days to see it.
Seriously though, it’s not the greatest poster in the world now is it? I don’t care how healthy the two leads are (Crowe is constantly cycling bikes, running, lifting mountains and Wahlberg is ripped to shreds) because their skin ain’t that good. More touch ups than a…..well…insert your own libel joke here. And the buildings? Holy Mother! At least the font is decent!
