Released in 2000, Ang Lee's martial arts epic Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was a work of real beauty, and unlike any martial arts movie seen by main stream audiences up until then. Now almost 13 years later, work is to begin on the sequel, Silver Vase, Iron Knight. Set for a May start date, director Ronny Yu (Bride Of Chuck, Freddy Vs. Jason) is in talks to direct a script from Dave Fusco (Young Guns, Hildago), based on Wang Du Lu's fourth book in his Crane-Iron Pentalogy. The film would focus on Yu Shu Lien, Michelle Yeoh's character from the original, who is expected to return along with the rest of cast. Fight choreographer Yu Ping Yuen is also expected to come back.
