Korean director Bong Joon-Ho impressed alot of people with The Host (the one with the giant monster, not Saorise Ronan), so much so that his English language debut, Snowpiercer, is pretty much the movie the word 'highly anticapated' was made for. Based on the French graphic novel, La Transperceneige, this post-apocalyptic thriller boasts an impressive cast, including Ed Harris, Chris Evans, Jamie Bell, John Hurt, Tilda Swinton, and Joon-Ho regular Song Kang-ho. The first image of the movie has appeared online, as has an official synopsis:
Snowpiercer is set in a future where, after a failed experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet except for the inhabitants of the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. A class system evolves on the train but a revolution brews.
