I absolutely love Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs. The zany humour is perfectly pitched for both kids and adults, and the voice cast is inspired, with Bill Hader, James Cann, Bruce Campbell, Neil Patrick Harris, and Mr. T putting in extremely memorable performances (NPH especially, as the voice of the monkey Steve, his lines mostly confined to repeating his name). So, of course, I am looking forward to the sequel, hitting cinemas this September, which see's inventor Flint Lockwood (Hader) discover that the machine that turns water into food, and caused so much trouble in the original, survived, and is churning out mutant food beast, such as double bacon cheesespiders, tacodiles, and apple pie-thons. Yes, this is going to be just as crazy as the original, and I can't wait. The trailer is expected to hit before the week is out, but for now we have this rather awesome poster to tide us over.
