Toy Story 3 was one of the biggest movies of the last few years, reducing screens full of adults and children to tears (myself included) so it's understandable that Pixar would once again return to the well with a fourth installment. Rumours have abounded lately, with Tom Hanks getting the ball rolling last Summer, saying, when asked about it during an interview, "I think there will be, yeah........I think they're working on it now." This could have been pure speculation on his part, but he seems to be backed by two separate Columbian news sites, reporting that the film could make it onto the big screen as soon as 2015.
This seems a bit unlikely, Pixar have already announced their slate for the next few years, including this years Monsters University, 2014's The Good Dinosaur, 2015's Inside Out, a planned Finding Nemo sequel for 2016, and an untitled movie based on the Mexiacn holiday Dia De Los Meurtos. While Disney have gone out of their to denounce these rumours, they did add that Toy Story 4 isn't happening......yet. So, is this confirmation that we will be getting further adventures of Buzz, Woody and the gang? I, for one, hope so.
