Sam Raimi's vision of the magical Land of Oz is released today, but Disney already have their eye on a sequel for Oz The Great And Powerful. The movie is still in the very early planning stages, with screen writer Michael Kapner brought in pen the script. Since Raimi's film is a prequel to The Wizard Of Oz, there is a chance the sequel could readapt the classic family favorite. No doubt these plans all hinge on the success of Oz The Great And Powerful, so it is successful, prepare to hear more about this proposed sequel as it moves forward.
