This new trailer for M. Night Shyamalan's After Earth opens up a lot more of the story than previously shown, promising a bucket load of drama to go along with the post apocalyptic survival. There is a lot to like here: Jaden Smith impresses, the environments of the ruined Earth look stunning, and the story seems to hold quite the emotional punch. This also feels like Shyamalan's earlier work, so this could see the director back on form.
Synopsis: After a crash landing, a father and son explore a planet that was evacuated by humans 1,000 years earlier.
