I will admit, for a long time my only knowledge of The Great Gatsby was that comedian Andy Kaufman read the incredibly long novel on stage as part of a bit. Since then I have become acquainted with F. Scott Fitzgerald's epic tome enough to be excited for Baz Luhrmann's upcoming adaption. The release date fast approaches, and Warner Bros. have given us two new t.v. spots, highlighting the sumptuous visuals, and no doubt powerful performances from the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Toby Maguire, and Carey Mulligan, amongst others.
Synopsis: A Midwestern war veteran finds himself drawn to the past and lifestyle of his millionaire neighbor.
