The first trailer for White House Down has just hit the web and just like Olympus Has Fallen (which is of similar ilk) it really, really impresses. I think the reason this is going to work so well is simply the fact that it’s dealing with what most people think impossible and unimaginable. And look every car crash, people always slow down to have a look, so in the same sense people will flock to see this, and experience with they think could never happen!
Tatum looks great as does Fox and the scale of White House Down looks rather immense and it has some serious dark undertones, which is a bit of a shift from the Roland Emmerich that blew up the White House all those years ago in Independence Day.
