There’s no story, there’s no laughs, there is nothing here. I hate to say, given there’s a pretty strong cast here, but DO NOT GO TO SEE THIS MOVIE. It’s pointless, meandering drivel and a more entertaining time is had by pushing a shopping trolley!
Proving that cinema audiences don’t really listen to critics (and sure why would they?) Grown Ups went on to gross a whopping $271, 430, 189 worldwide. With that in mind, a sequel was inevitable. And here’s the trailer for it. I have to admit that 2 parts of the trailer made me laugh, and I suspect that the best parts are in the trailer. But none the less, let’s reserve judgment until the movie arrives (Help us all!!!) on July 12 USA and August 9th in Ireland and the UK! I don’t know about you, but I’ll have my eye pulling device at the ready!
