We have already gotten our first look at Jamie Foxx as The Amazing Spider-Man 2's big bad Electro, but director Marc Webb has tweeted a new picture of Max Dillon before his electrifying transformation, giving us a hint of the characters new back story as the ultimate, unhinged Spider-Man fan. I mean, that has to be his stalker wall in the background, right?
Actor Dane DeHann was also on Twitter over the weekend, giving us our first look at his portrayal of Harry Osborn. I believe him more as Harry than James Franco in the original trilogy. Franco was good and all, but there is something about DeHann, probably from his work in Chronicle, that makes me think he pull off the characters slow descent into evil a lot better.
Synopsis: For Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
Released: May 2nd 2014
