Not only does it confirm that Natalie Portman's Jane Foster will be making the jump to Asgard, it also shows the more viking inspired element that has been rumoured for a while now. While the first Thor gave Asgard a fantasy make over, passing off science as magic, The Dark World, with Game Of Thrones director Alan taylor at the helm, will play up the characters Norse roots a lot more.
