Tom Cruise is in Dublin today (and yes we’re on the red carpet in a bit, follow @themoviebit) for the European premiere of Oblivion and while he’s in town, our beloved politicians figured it’d be a good photo op :) On a serious note though, Tom was presented with a certificate of his Irish Heritage by the Tanaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs Eamon Gilmore. Tom joked that he was there to reclaim his land, and considering the state of the economy at the moment, he’d get us pretty cheap too. The Top Gun star also toured around Dublin, and stopped off for a pint of the black stuff at The Guinness store house.
