The final part of Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg, and Nick Frost's Cornetto Trilogy, The World's End makes it's long awaited bow on the big screen this Summer, and a new poster for the end of the world comedy has made it's way on Wright's Twitter feed. Little is known how the apocalypse comes about in the movie, and the army of glowing eyed people in the background piles on the mystery. Aliens? A Village Of The Damned type of scenario? Radioactive zombies? No doubt we'll find out in the coming months.
Synopsis: 20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hellbent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40 year-old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again tries to reach the fabled pu, The World's End.
As they attempt to reconcile the past and the present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind's. Reaching The World's End becomes the least of their worries.
