Based on a true story, The Butler follows Cecil Gaines (Forest Whittaker) who served as a butler in The White House from 1952 to 1986. From director Lee Daniels (Precious), it offers a look at the history of that time, from the civil rights movement to the Vietnam war, from this mans unique perspective, and features a whole host of famous faces, including Alan Rickman, Robin Williams, Oprah Winfrey, James Marsden (doing a perfect impression of JFK), John Cusack, Terence Howard, Jane Fonda, and Cuba Gooding Jnr.
