James Gunn's comic book adaption Guardians of the Galaxy has quite a cast already, with Chris Pratt, Micheal Rooker, Zoe Saldana, Chris Batista, Lee Pace, and Glenn Close already confirmed, with John C. Rielly's involvement churning around in the rumour mill. Now another name has been added, with former Doctro Who star Karen Gillan, portraying fan favorite companion Amy Pond for three season of the long running sci-fi show, signing on as the so far unnamed villainess, joining Pace and possibly Rooker, if unconfirmed reports are to be believed, in bad guy duties in the fourth installment of Marvel Studio's Phase Two. With production slated to begin in the coming months, this should wind up the casting process, and hopefully be getting proper confirmation on the movie.
