Tom Cruise's latest sci-fi project is getting a name change, with All You Need is Kill (the name of the book by Hiroshi Sakurazaka it is based on) being swapped out for the less interesting, but not as confusing, Edge of Tomorrow. Directed by Doug Liman (Go, The Bourne Identity), the film is et in the near future, where earth is at war with a seemingly unbeatable alien race. Lt. Col. Bill Cage (Cruise) finds himself caught in a time loop, meaning every time he dies in combat with the aliens, he is forced to relive the brutal battle over and over again. Along with Special Forces soldier Rita (Emily Blunt), he finds each time loop brings them one step closer to defeating the enemy.
The first footage from the newly retitled film will be shown at this years Comic-Con, and, to mark the event, the first teaser poster has been released, showing off the impressive exo skeleton Cruise dons in the movie.
