Based on the true story of Mary Poppins' rocky road to the big screen, it's clear from this trailer that Saving Mr. Banks has it's arms outstretched, ready to give your heart strings a good tugging. Telling the story of author P.L. Travers' (Emma Thompson) reluctance to let her famous creation be transferred to the big screen, and her butting heads with Walt Disney (Tom Hanks) himself, this looks to be sweet, funny, and charming in equal measure, and I can't think of anybody else but Hanks who could play the role of Disney.
