As this trailer proudly proclaims, The Counselor see's director Ridley Scott helm a script from No Country for Old Men and The Road author Cormac McCarthy, a dark tale of a lawyer (Michael Fassbender) who finds himself over his head when he gets involved in drug trafficking. Joining Fassbender are an all star cast, including Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem Penelope Cruz, and Cameron Diaz. With the caliber of talent in front of and behind the camera, The Counselor promises a lot, and judging from this latest, beautifully shot trailer it will deliver. In spades.
