Guardians of the Galaxy is currently shooting in the U.K., and more we see and and hear about James Gunn's epically off the wall installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the more excitement grows. Even though it is well into production, news has been very quiet on the casting of the voice for fan favorite Rocket Raccoon, the CG, gun toting woodland critter member of the team. Now, reports are coming in that Bradley Cooper is in early talks to voice the character. A bit of an odd choice, reading the comics I always imagined him as British for some reason (which is why I think Simon Pegg would kill in the role), but Cooper has really proved himself as a great actor in the last few years, he could potentially pull this off.
If he agrees, he will be joining an impressive cast, which includes Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Michael Rooker, Lee Pace, Peter Serafinowicz, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, and Vin Diesel, the voice of Rocket Raccoon's partner in crime, Groot.
Released: August 1st 2014
