Earlier today, we got our first look at Fast and Furious 7, now word has reached us that Lucas Black, who played the hero Sean Boswell in Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift, will reprise his role for next year's seventh installment, joining the returning Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, and Tyrese Gibson, as well as newcomers Tony Jaa, Kurt Russell, and Jason Statham, playing the vengeful brother of 6's bad guy. Seeing as Tokyo Drift, even though it is the third movie, actually takes place just before 7, thanks to the franchises screwy chronology, and Boswel has a vested interest in the events that kick start the sixth sequel (as shown in the end credits sequence of Fast and Furious 6), I had an inkling that Black might make an appearance. And depending on how well received Fast and Furious 7 will be received (considering how both 5 and 6 have preformed, I predict very well indeed) the actor will also appear in the eight and ninth installments.
Production is underway in Australia for the film, with The Conjuring's James Wan at the helm with a release date set for July 11th 2014.
