Complete with the sound of screaming fanboys at the end, the announcement trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron, shown at Comic-Con in the Summer, has come online.
As I've said before, I don't think it's a coincidence that Iron Man's helmet morphs into the head of Ultron, the robotic villain played by James Spader, and that his new origin will make sure we get plenty of screen time for Robert Downey Jr. Also, I don't think the face we see here will be the final look of Ultron from the movie. It's likely it was just put in for the announcement, to be recognisable for the fans. Joss Whedon himself has said it is very hard for a character to emote if his face doesn't move (don't believe him? Watch Spider-Man), and we'll see several Ultrons, using the villains gimmick from the comics that he evolves with each appearance, over the course of the sequel.
Released: May 1st 2015
