Putting the spotlight on independent film productions from Cork, Ireland and across the globe, the inaugural IndieCork Film Festival starts this week, from the 16th of October to the 20th. Taking place at several venues around the city, the festival offers not only a first look at the best world independent cinema has to offer, but also a wealth of workshops that will provide invaluable knowledge to anybody wanting to make their first film.
The festival also marks the premiere of three Irish features, Trampoline, limp., and Sodium Party, as well as anthology film Cork, Like, which mixes in different film genres to offer a day in the life of the city. More information, including the full festival program, can be found the festival's website.
