It is considered the biggest gamble Marvel Studio's has made so far, based on a property almost unknown in the mainstream, but having had the pleasure of seeing some behind the scenes footage of Guardians of the Galaxy, I can say we are in for something quite spectacular when the film reaches the big screen on the 1st of August next year. Filming has officially finished, marking the end of over three months of production. The film now enters the long process of post-production, adding a whole host of CG aliens, including Guardians members, and no doubt scene stealers, Rocket Raccoon and Groot (voiced by Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel), and the many, many, MANY effects shots that will bring the movies space setting to life. Marking the occasion, director James Gunn took to Facebook to thank everybody involved in the production. Now begins the long wait to see an official trailer.
