The Cuban Missile Crisis played a huge part in X-Men: First Class, and it seems another important event in history will play a part in X-Men: Days of Future Past with the debut of new viral site, The Bent Bullet. A clever twist on existing conspiracy theories, it offers evidence of the involvement of Magneto (Michael Fassbender) in the assassination of JFK. This is a story point that has been connected to the movie for quite sometime, with First Class director detailing a sequence with Magneto changing the trajectory of the bullet way back when he was attached to the sequel (he soon left to work on The Secret Service, being replaced by Bryan Singer). A lot of work has gone into The Bent Bullet, and for anybody looking forward to the big screen return of the X-Men, it is worth losing some time to.
X-Men: Days of Future Past hits cinemas May 23rd 2014.
