Following on from the announcement that Gal Gadot will be playing Wonder Woman in 2015's Superman vs. Batman, another casting rumour has reared its head, with reports that Game of Thrones' Jason Momoa is in talks to play an unspecified role. There is no confirmation on who he will be playing, with some speculation suggesting he will be taking the role of villain Doomsday (a hulking monster created solely by DC to kill Superman for 1992's Death of Superman event), with others saying he will be playing Martian Manhunter, the last living inhabitant of Mars and a member of the Justice League. The rumours of other Justice League members making an appearance have been running rampant since Gadot's announcement, but I can't shake the feeling that he would be better suited as Doomsday. He's got the physique for it, that would no doubt be enhanced by special effects, and he is certainly imposing enough to pull off a villain. With a production start date set for February 2014, we will no doubt here confirmation of this very soon.
