Holy shit! The latest trailer for The Raid 2 has just dropped and it is all kinds of insanity. Amazing insanity. Recently Gareth Evans has made the point that they are still holding some stuff back that won’t make any trailer, which makes me think just how phenomenal the overall movie will be. Looking at the stuff in the trailer, how the hell can Gareth Evans hold anything back!!!!! The Raid 2 screens at Sundance tonight and will no doubt blow the roof off the Eccles Theater!
Anyway, I’m off to watch this at least another 10 times! And so should you! EPIC!!!

Synopsis: Immediately following the events of the original, The Raid 2 tracks Officer Rama as he is pressured to join an anti-corruption task force to guarantee protection for his wife and child. His mission is to get close to a new mob boss, Bangun, by befriending his incarcerated son, Uco. Rama must hunt for information linking Bangun with corruption in the Jakarta Police Department while pursuing a dangerous and personal vendetta that threatens to consume him and bring his mission-and the organized crime syndicate-down around him.
