With shooting set to begin next month, Josh Trank's (Chronicle) Fantastic Four reboot has found it's team of superheroes, and it is a much different version than we have previously seen on the big screen before. Obviously taking cues from Ultimate Fantastic Four, part of a line from Marvel Comics which re-imagined the origins and lives of some of their most well known heroes (Marvel Studios have cribbed ideas from Ultimate Comics for their own cinematic universe), the line up skews much younger that what we are used to, and pretty much all of the cast are people we wouldn't have thought for Marvel's First Family. Miles Teller (Project X, That Awkward Moment) will play Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara (Netflix's House of Cards) is Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Michael B. Jordan (teaming up once again with Teller after That Awkward Moment) takes on the role of Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, and Jamie Bell, even though he hasn't finalised his deal yet is Ben Grimm/The Thing. They are strange choices for the roles, and with details on the project very thin on the ground, I'm interested to see what direction Fox is going with this.
