Coming from Animal Kingdom director David Michod, The Rover images a future where the world has become a wasteland after the collapse of society. Into this desolate hell comes Eric (Guy Pearce), a loner, who must team up with Ray (Robert Pattinson) after Ray's gang steal Eric's car and leave him for dead. Mixing in heavy drama with some fantastic imagery (just check out the car crash at 0:44), this latest trailer gives a real taste of what to expect, especially the promise of some fantastic performances from the leads. Many will continue to throw Twilight in Pattinson's face, but since that franchise ended, he has been really trying to get out of his comfort zone, more often than not showing he is more than Edward Cullen.
