Our 5th Birthday is nearly here and as we are reaching the pivotal milestone of being able to tie our own shoelaces, drink from an adult sized cup and stop wetting ourselves, we are putting together a birthday video, and we want YOU in it! All you have to do is record a quick video (funny and movie themed if at all possible, get creative) wishing us Happy Birthday etc. of around 10-15 seconds and email it to us. We’re going to pick the best video and give the creator a whopping €100 (or the equivalent amount in your currency as this comp is open to ALL our readers everywhere) and we’ll also pick some other videos at random to receive some movie merchandise. Do whatever you want.
Record it at work, college, home, quote movies, do impressions, do stunts (don’t get killed, we’re not liable) but make sure you say “Happy Birthday to The Movie Bit” at some point.
And that’s it basically. If you’ve already sent us a video, don’t worry. You’re in the draw as well. So best of luck!

Exchange rate will be observed on a chosen date. Competition is open worldwide.

- Video can be shot on your phone (please make sure it’s in landscape mode or in other words, turn the phone into a rectangle) or whatever you want.
- 10-15 Seconds in duration
- In English
- Email it to themoviebitbdayvid@gmail.com – OR upload it to youtube and email us the link
- File format must be either .mp4 .mov .avi
- The video can just be you or a group of people, but if it’s a group of people then ye will have to fight to the death for the €100
- Include your full name (and twitter handle if you have one) and where you’re from
- You’re video must be in our inbox by the 15th of June at the very latest.
- Unless you’re doing stunts and fight sequences, to do this video should take you no longer than a minute or two.
