Despite all of its much publicized re-shoots and script problems, World War Z turned out to be an enjoyable, and very different, zombie flick. Taking in a very impressive $504 million, a sequel was announced last year, with Brad Pitt jumping reprising his role as Gerry Lane, and The Impossible's Juan Antonio Bayona taking on directing duties. Now, a writer has been found for the project in the form of Steven Knight, who provided the script for Eastern Promises, as well as writing and directing Mockingbird and, most recently, Locke with Tom Hardy. No shooting date or release date has been given for the sequel.
