Edgar Wright, as most if you know, is no longer in the directors chair for Marvel's Ant-Man, citing creative differences for his departure. After spending 8 years working on the movie, and given the fact that it's released in less than a year, you can expect to see some of Wright's visuals in the finished movie. By all accounts Wright had storyboarded the entire movie. Speaking to SlashFilm, Marvel studios president, Kevin Feige said that wasn't entirely true
"Yeah. It wasn’t the whole movie and there are new elements in the movie obviously, now, that [Wright] was not involved in. But there are some segments that are awesome and will be brought to life in some incarnation. Peyton [Reed] certainly has all that material and is a talented enough and a secure enough guy to notice if something is really cool and go “No reason to change that, that’s great.” Or if he’s got his own spin on something to go and adapt it from there."
Edgar has a specific style that I'm sure will be quite prevalent in the movie next year but it must be equally frustrating for the director to see some of his vision on screen without his name attached.
