Apes run riot at the box office

Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes have run riot all over the box office again this weekend, with the amazing apes staying on top for two weeks running. Matt Reeves decent monkey outing has grossed $36 million (now at $138 million domestic) this weekend in the US box office. Including international box office receipts of over $100 million the grand total so far is a rather decent $240 million.

And with decent reviews everywhere, the Apes could well stay on top for another week. After that though, who knows as a certain bunch of a-holes are inbound.
