The last time we saw director Guillermo Del Toro, he was wrecking all sorts of shop in Pacific Rim, and before he goes back to the world of giant robots and kaiju Godzilla would give his Atomic Breath to fight in Pacific Rim 2, he is going a lot smaller and character driven with Crimson Peak, which sees the director in full on gothic, haunted house mode. The first image from the project has come online, featuring Jessica Chastain. If you've seen any of Del Toro's early movies, especially The Devil's Backbone, will know he knows his way around a good ghost story, and considering he has one of the most unique aesthetics in Hollywood at the moment, Crimson Peak is going to be one extremely pretty horror movie.
