UPDATE - No sooner had I pressed publish on this article, the video was taken down. Guess we have our answer.
The craziness just got crazier. It has been almost a day since Sony announced they were cancelling the theatrical release of Seth Rogen and James Franco's The Interview, amid threats of attack to theatres that show the movie. At the time of the announcement it was believed that the movie would never see the light of day, but now a new promo, with the tagline "In Franco & Rogen we trust" has been released, promising the movie will see the light of day on its planned release date of Christmas Day. Could it have been uploaded to Youtube by accident, or is the movie be getting a VOD release? The tagline and certain scenes shown definitely suggest it was planned. Guess we'll find out next week.
