It looks like David Ayer's
Suicide Squad is down one member, with The Wrap reporting that the role of Rick Flagg is now up for grabs, with Tom Hardy opting out of the second installment of DC's Cinematic Universe. No reason has been given beyond scheduling conflicts, and with the movie expected to begin shooting in Toronto in April, the hunt is on to find a replacement for Hardy, who was one of the A-list names attached when the project was first announced. There is no concrete information at this stage, but Ayer is said to be considering re-uniting with End of Watch star Jake Gyllenhaal.
Suicide Squad is set for release August 5th 2016.
