After the likes of Dear John and The Notebook, Nicolas Sparks novels have become the go to source when adapting romance stories for the big screen. The latest, The Longest Ride starring Scott Eastwood and Britt Robertson, sees a bit of The Notebook come through with two tales of young love intersecting, even though they are separated by generations.
