Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is currently shooting, and there are a bunch of new characters joining the Heroes in a Half-Shell since time round, including one Casey Jones, fan favourite vigilante who is quite handy with a hockey stick. Arrow's Stephen Amell is taking on the role, and our first look at him in character comes courtesy of producer Michael Bay.
I didn't have the same problems many others had with last year's reboot, but I will admit the announcement of Casey Jones for the sequel did have me imagining some over the top, along the lines of the uber-Shredder armour. But this first image fills me with a bit of confidence (though he's still no Elias Kotaes from the Turtle's first big screen outing). The hockey mask may look like it's on steroids, but I'm so glad they're keeping Jones simple. Though, I do hope a golf bag full of weapons does make an appearance.
