A while back, we ran an article about the current, rather disappointing, trend trailers and promos are currently stuck, cramming in as much footage as they can, and ruining what would have been an awesome surprise when sitting in a darkened cinema. Well, it looks like Hollywood hasn’t learned, with the latest t.v. spot giving away a cameo from an established member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I won’t give it away here, but you can see it for yourself after spoiler Paul Rudd below.
So yeah, Anthony Mackie reprises his role as Falcon, sporting the duds he’ll be wearing Captain America: Civil War. Obviously, we don’t know how he figures into proceedings, but it is safe bet it’ll set the stage for Rudd’s appearance in Civil War. Hell, it could even be from the end credits spot. Either way, it’s a bit of a disappointment having his cameo ruined like this. Spotting the little nods to other movies from the MCU is one of the best parts of Marvel Studios’ output, and having something as cool as this revealed early takes the fun out of it.
