Speaking to bad taste.it, the actor explained the reason the character was cut from the movie, saying, “The reason is too great to be revealed in this movie (Civil War). I was in the script but then they removed my character. They don’t want to reveal where is he and why. I don’t even know if Hulk will be back soon.” It makes perfect sense to excise Hulk’s part, as the movie is already way to crowded. The Hulk’s fate would have been way down on the totem pole of important plot developments in a movie where our favourite heroes are at each other’s throats, and wouldn’t been given the time it needed, especially with how Black Widow feels about it all to be explored. Or it could be given far too much time and just unnecessarily weigh down the plot going forward. It seems the return of the Hulk is being kept for further down the road, but hopefully not too far, because I don’t think we can do without him for too long.
Captain America: Civil War comes our way May 6th 2016.
