Best known for Anchorman and Step Brothers, Adam Mckay’s passion project for the last few years actually throws him into the realm of heavy drama with The Big Short which tells the tale of four economic ‘outsiders’ (Brad Pitt, Steve Carell, Christian Bale, and Ryan Gosling) who vow to make the big banks hurt during the housing crisis of the mid-2000’s. Already riding a wave of positive buzz after a stint on the festival circuit, a new trailer has come our way showing that McKay could easily transition from the genre that made his name.
