After creating a gritty Marvel Comics television universe and delivering a possible Oscar contender with Beasts of No Nation, Netflix are trying their hands at a christmas special. Re-teaming Bill Murray with his Lost in Translation director Sofia Coppolla, A Very Murray Christmas mixes humour and song and dance numbers with an all star cast, including George Clooney, Amy Poehler, Chris Rock, Michael Cera, Jason Schwartzman, and Miley Cyrus (well, can’t have it all I guess). We’re unabashed Murray fans here at The Movie Bit towers, so you better believe we’ll be sitting down with some egg nog, Santa hats perched jauntily on our heads, watching this when it hits the streaming service on December 4th.
