Following it’s premiere at the 2014 Indie Cork Film Festival, no budget feature Dead Dogs, shot in a and around Cork with a crew of Cork natives, went onto enjoy a lot of success on the festival circuit, picking up Best Dramatic Feature at the Fort Worth Indie Film Showcase, Best National Feature Film at the Dare Media Underground Film Festival, and Best Feature Film at the Sky Road Film + TV Festival. Now, audiences will get a chance to experience this stark and heartfelt portrait of struggling families, mental illness, and isolation for themselves, when Dead Dogs makes it released to the public through Vimeo On Demand on February 25th. On top of that, director Ian Ruby will also release a complimentary website, complete with full screenplay, production notes anymore behind the scenes glimpses of the movie, with the aim to give people, especially aspiring film makers, a fascinating insight into how the movie was made with almost no money or resources.
