James Gunn and Marvel’s favourite bunch of a-holes have descended on Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, with principal photography having just begun on the highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. To celebrate the start of production, the first teaser image from the sequel has bee released, featuring the team looking quite bad-ass in silhouette. Also, Marvel Studios have announced the new faces joining Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Copper, Vin Diesel, and the rest of the original movie’s returning cast. While we already knew about the previously announced Pom Klementif, she will be joined by Elizabeth Debicki (The Great Gatsby, Everest), Chris Sullivan (The Knick, The Drop), and, ending months of speculation, Kurt Russell. While their roles are still be kept a secret, it has been confirmed the sequel will unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s parentage.
