All the kids from the 90’s can rejoice as the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers are on the way to the big screen, and with production having begun on Dean Isrealite’s (Project Almanac) Power Rangers in Vancouver, Entertainment Weekly has released the first cast photo, bringing our new heroes together for the first time.
Featuring Dacre Montgomery (A Few Less Men) as Jason the Red Ranger, RJ Cyler (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl) as Billy the Blue Ranger, Naomi Scott (The 33) as Kimberly the Pink Ranger, Backy G (Empire) as Trini the Yellow Ranger, and Ludi Lun (Monster Hunt) as Zack the Black Ranger, Power Rangers retells the origins of our brightly coloured heroes as they are tasked with saving the world from Elizabeth Banks’ Rita Repulsa.
Power Rangers is set for release March 24th 2017.
