All the Irish locations (Donegal, Cork and Kerry) for Star Wars Episode VIII, have had a no fly zone set up. So, the shoot is happening since yesterday and most of next week and the cast have flown into Belfast airport today. Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver and director Rian Johnson all arrived ahead of filming at the weekend. Looking at the list of no fly zone dates it's pretty easy to see what's going on
Sybil Head and Dunmore Head in Kerry: 5 May to 26 May
Brow Head in Cork: 16 May – 18 May
Loop Head in Clare: 17 May – 19 May
Malin Head in Donegal: 12 May – 16 May
Presumably the cast will travel onto the Malin Head set as Belfast isn't too far away. From there, it's likely they'll travel to Kerry and we're not entirely sure what to expect in Brow Head in Cork, as there isn't much activity in the West Cork site to date.
