Just in time for the original's 21st birthday, Trainspotting 2 is finally coming our way next year, with Danny Boyle getting the band back together (Ewan McGregor, Ewan Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller, and Robert Carlye) for the long awaited sequel said to be based on Irvine Welsh’s own sequel to Transpotting, Porno. Now, coinciding with rumours of a late Spring 2016 start date, cameras have started rolling on the streets of Edinburgh, with Bremner being the first to report to set, looking the worst for wear as the hapless Spud. And, this of course being the Internet, some shots from behind the scenes have leaked out.
No doubt, the rest of the lads will join him in the coming weeks and months, and we’ll get to see the long awaited finished product sometime next year.
