Even though Ewan Bremner was spotted shooting scenes in Edinburgh last week, production officially begins on the long-awaited Trainspotting 2, or T2 as they are calling it (you know James Cameron will have a thing or two to say about this), and to celebrate that fact Sony Pictures have released an announcement trailer, heralding the fact that director Danny Boyle and the original cast of Bremner, Ewan McGregor, Jonny Lee Miller, and Robert Carlye are all returning. While it may just be recut footage from the original, it does a great job of getting us excite for the return of Renton, Spud, Begbie, and Sick Boy. Check it out below.
