Since premiering at Sundance way back in January, Kenneth Longergan's Manchester by the Sea has received near-unanimous critical acclaim. The drama, which stars Casey Affleck as a man who's haphazard life is turned upside down following the death of his brother, has already been named as the 2016 Best Film of the Year by the National Board of Review, celebrated for Lonergan's strong direction and some affecting turns by leads Affleck, Michelle Williams and Lucas Hedges.
